Rene Lalique Glasses: On this page is an example of each model Lalique Glass in our database. The links will take you to the main page for each R. Lalique Glass model. That main model page will contain a wealth of information for each glass and links to other sections of the website relevant to that glass design. Glasses are also called tumblers, cordials, goblets and gobelets, snifters, chalices and stems. Most of these can be more specific when preceded by words like wine, champagne, brandy, whisky, soda, lemonade. In terms of numbers, most R. Lalique glasses were offered in 4 to 7 different sizes of the same basic shape and the same design so that a purchaser could assemble a stemware service of many different size glasses in the same pattern. For organizing this category, we have only used one glass from each set so that we don't have hundreds of nearly duplicate listings, which would make identification from the photos much more time consuming. Also note that some stemware that came in sets also had other glasses for sale of same basic design but in a much different shape. For example there might be an additional tumbler or snifter of a particular stemware pattern which in shape is completely dfferent than the main pieces offered in the set. These are shown separately and designated with a following number. So the typical Lotus model stem is called Lotus, while a goblet or tumbler of the same or nearly the same pattern might be called Lotus-2. Most sets also had a decanter and pitcher available and many had plates and bowls as well. These other types of items are (or will be) shown in their own categories. Note: If you don't see your glass here, check Cups and Vases. 138 R. Lalique Glasses Are Shown Out Of The Approximately 160 Models Back To The Main Page Of The: Rene Lalique Catalogue |
