Forgeries are any item not R.Lalique, that is falsely signed with a signature indicating it is R. Lalique, or which even if not signed, that is advertised as, or represented to be the work of Rene Lalique. This definition encompasses many of the items shown in two other categories (Lalique Copies and Close Calls, and Lalique Crystal represented as R Lalique Glass), but because those categories each represent a specific and unique subset of all R.Lalique Forgeries, they are grouped and discussed separately. The items in this section are from a myriad of manufacturers, and were not originally created with the intent to deceive anyone. Many of these items are collectible on their own for what they really are. It is only the addition of a spurious R. Lalique signature, or the making of a representation that they are RLalique items, that put them in this Rene Lalique Forgeries category. For convenience, we have organized the R.Lalique Forgeries into 9 sub-sections, so that if you are looking for a vase, you don't have to waste time scrolling through photos of plates. In addition, we have an 10th sub-section, which contains the most common R. Lalique Forgeries, and which represent the bulk of all R.Lalique Forgeries regardless of the subsection they might be in. All photos in the Most Forged section are also contained in the other subsections. Checking this subsection first may save you some time. Remember, color and size matter not. Many of these R Lalique Forgeries were made in many different colors and sizes. If you see an item pictured here that looks nearly identical to yours, than you have cause for concern. We also have a 11th sub-section showing examples of R Lalique forged signatures we have seen. You can email us at Info@RLalique.com and attach a photo of any item you do not see pictured, but which you are concerned about. We will tell you for free (if we can do so from your photo) if it is an R. Lalique Forgery or not. Here is a link to the Photo Submission Guidelines in our Lalique Authentication Services Section. Added information on any uploaded photo may be available for a fee. For example, if your item is not R.Lalique, we may be able to tell you the actual identity or manufacturer of the item. for a fee. But letting you know if it's an R Lalique Forgery or not is FREE. And remember, by sending a photo to us for a free authentication, you are giving us permission to use that photo for any reason, such as adding it to the galleries of photos on our site. Photos cannot contain any writing, logs, or people, just the item against a plain background please. For further details on our added services, please see Authenticate Lalique. All comments, added photos, and information from collectors are welcome. Our goal is to document as fully as possible all R. Lalique Fakes and Frauds, and any and all assistance and information is appreciated. Click on any photo or subsection name below to explore our photo galleries.
