Rules Of The Comment Road – Please Read
A short note on rules relating to comments posted in the Blog. You must register to comment, the main registration criteria being a valid e-mail address. Note we may add your email to our email list, but it will have an unsubscribe link if you don’t want the emails. Please keep your comments relevant to the posting that you are commenting on. We are hopeful that we will have a lively and informative professional level discussion that visitors to the website and to this R Lalique Blog will find beneficial. Respectful language and tone in your comments will help keep this community informative and interesting to all enthusiasts of RLalique. So no cuss words, no name calling, and no personal attacks or improper remarks. What’s improper? Well, we’ll know it when we see it. So keep it clean and civil. Also, no personally identifiable information about yourself or other collectors. So for example, no names, phone numbers or addresses. Links are OK in your comments for example if they point to RLalique material of general interest. But, no ads, no promoting, no selling, etc. So for example, if there is a piece on Ebay that you want to point to in a comment that is related to the topic you are commenting about, maybe a questionable item being sold as RLalique, than this is OK. But posting a comment pointing to an Ebay listing for the purpose of promoting it for sale, or using the Blog to try and direct participants to particular web sites for the purpose of selling them something, is not OK. There’s a fine line in some topics between promoting and discussing and we’ll get it sorted out as we proceed. If you have something to say that you think violates these rules with respect to other comments or collectors or whatever, but you feel that you must notify the community about the information, send an email to Info@RLalique.com and we’ll take a look at it. Finally, we reserve the right to delete any comments we think are not appropriate for any reason. Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with us. We hope you find it time well spent.
