Rene Lalique Le Jade Perfume Bottle information and photos at RLalique.com are tied together on this main Le Jade Perfume Bottles page. Past and future auctions, historical details, sales, copies, reproductions, articles and more are all accessible from here. This page grows as more info is added to the website. Note: Le Jade is French for Jade.
Also Note: This bottle is known in 1 height of approximately 8 cm.
Also Note: The front of the bottle shows a large parrot over a thicket. The reverse is a thicket with no parrot. The dome shaped stopper continues the thicket theme.
Also Note: This bottle is most often seen in opaque jade green glass. But it was also produced in a translucent bright green glass that can be seen in the listing below for April 2013.
Also Note: The bottle is molded LE JADE at the bottom of the front side and ROGER ET GALLET PARIS at the bottom of the reverse. It bears a molded R.L. monogram and molded FRANCE to the underside.
Also Note: In 1923 Lalique created a parrots design for the outer boxes for a large number of products to be scented with Roger Et Gallet's Le Jade fragrance. So the design was not just for the box for the 1923 Le Jade Perfume Bottle (that was not an R. Lalique bottle), but also for a large number of other Le Jade scented products. As a result there are a lot of different shapes, sizes, and forms of the parrot boxes.
To Repeat: The Roger Et Gallet 1923 Le Jade Perfume Bottle marketed in the parrots motif box (or any other box) is not an R. Lalique bottle. You can see that non-R. Lalique bottle shown in a period poster in the last photo in this parrots box listing. The authentic R. Lalique bottle for Le Jade you see on this page did not come along until 1926 and it was marketed in an outer box with a completely different design than the parrots motif Lalique had conceived 3 years earlier. You can see that 1926 box in the last photo at the period publication link below and/or in the February 2017 listing below.
Also Note: In addition to the 1923 non-R. Lalique bottle discussed above, Le Jade was marketed by Roger Et Gallet in several other bottles over the years. One of those bottles was the R. Lalique Persana Perfume Bottle. But there is another Le Jade bottle that often appears with the claim of R. Lalique/René Lalique that is not an R. Lalique bottle. The bottle design is kind of a very short necked version of the Persana Perfume Bottle, making it a bit "in the style". But that short necked version is unsigned and undocumented. Here is a link to one of the unsigned and undocumented examples at a French auction so you'll know to keep moving and keep your hands in your pockets when you see it! We also have it listed as a Persana and Psyka close-call on the copies and close calls page because it takes from both those R. Lalique bottles.
Finally: See the Le Jade Perfume Card created by Roger et Gallet especially for the the fragrance that was sold in this bottle using the general exotic birds motif created by Rene Lalique. If Lalique had specifically designed the card his name would be on it.

NOTE: There are other different R. Lalique perfume bottles labeled Le Jade! If you are looking for a Le Jade labeled bottle that does not match this one, go to the catalogue's main Perfume Bottle page at the link above and find your bottle! It may have a different model name as many bottles were used for more than one fragrance. For bottles made for perfumeries (as opposed to Maison Lalique Bottles sold empty), typically but not always, we call the bottle by the first fragrance it was used for. Also different perfumeries sometimes used the same fragrance name.
