Note: This model is a combination of the Sirene Car Mascot and the quatre masques bakelite base used for the 4 Veilleuses (small table lamps) Graines D'Asperges Model 2553, Amours Model 2554, Pommier Du Japon Model 2555, and Hirondelles Model 2556. Except for the Hirondelles Veilleuse (1919), the other 3 veilleuses and all 3 glass inserts (Naiade, Sirene Stopper, Sirene Mascotte) are from 1920. There is no doubt Lalique was just creatively putting leftover bakelite bases to good use.

Also Note: The same base has also appeared several times mounted with a Sirene Stopper as a Sirene On Masques Base Statue and it has appeared mounted with a Naiade Car Mascot as a Naiade On Masques Base Statue.

Also Note: Typically when the base was used for a small lamp, the mouth of one masque would be drilled out with a small hole for the electric cord. At least one example of one of the above three models that have appeared on this bakelite base was on a base with a hole already drilled in one mouth.
