Note: Muguets is French for lilies of the valley.

Also Note: In 1919 Lalique created two mirrors of identical size and form. Both are round, both are 16 cm, and both have a bulging handhold on the reverse incorporated into the design. The first has a design of 2 goats and is named Deux Chèvres. The second has a design of 2 birds and is called Deux Oiseaux. There was a third mirror created at the same time that is the same size, but it has a tassel hold incorporated into the reverse instead of the bulging handle. That mirror with a design of 3 peacocks is called Trois Paons. Two years later in 1921, Lalique created the second tassel hold mirror named Muguets that you see here. Muguets would be the last installment in this four mirror mini-series.
