Note: Hirondelles is French for swallows.

Also Note: In 1922 Lalique created a total of 6 similar decorations each having 2 or 3 swallows. The model numbers range from 1102 to 1107 inclusive. This model 1107 is the only one documented as being set in a bronze base. There are two different bronze bases recognized as being original to this decoration. The 2020-05-09 listing below has a good picture of one of them. The 2010-12-09 listing has the other.

Also Note: The other 5 decorations all have block style glass bases. In addition to the model shown here, we also have models 1102, 1105, and 1106 in the catalogue.

Also Note: Swallows were an often used theme for Rene Lalique.
