Also Note: For the year 1923 there are only 2 new commercial glass boxes recorded. They are this Hirondelles Box and the similar Zinnias Box Model 54. The 2 boxes are the same shape and size (10 cm by 8 cm rectangles with canted corners) and they share the same herringbone decorated base. The only difference is the design on the top of the lid. For both boxes the side of the lid matches the herringbone pattern of the container. And both boxes were marketed as "boite à cigarettes".
