Rene Lalique Lamp Feuilles: Just about 60 cm tall, an undocumented fixture on black base with a Vase De Fleurs Cachet finial, the central pole inserted through six double leaf glass elements. The cachet and one leaf element are engraved R. Lalique France. Lot 89256. Model: Lamp-1 Circa 1935. Note: This lamp is extremely similar to two other lamps which have appeared that are composed of similar elements from the Lanterns Moineaux and Dahlias. However, while the cachet used as a finial is obviously authentic, the leaf elements in this lamp are not identified as being part of another Lantern or other lighting fixture. A pair of these appeared at Christie's Park Avenue location in New York City on December 10th, 1998 that had wheel carved signatures on the bases. The pair made $25,300 all-in against an estimate of $14,000 - $18,000.
