Also Note: There is an error in the Catalogue Raisonne concerning the name of this vase. The 1932 Catalogue has it as the singular Chrysanthème. It mistakenly got pluralized to Chrysanthèmes in the Catalogue Raisonne. But clearly just looking at the vase it should be singular as shown in the 1932 Catalogue.

Also Note: The 1932 Catalogue shows this vase on a dark base. We have never handled that base. The auction house for the October 2022 vase listed below has told us that the base included with that vase does not match the reference photos and they do not believe it's original to the vase.

Also Note: This vase model originally came with a cover. The cover is a single chrysanthemum flowerhead and is the primary decorative element of Lalique's wonderfully clean design. Without the cover it's not a Chrysanthème Vase. The value of the vase without the original cover is a small percentage of the value with the cover. It's our typical advice not to buy any R. Lalique item with missing or later replacement parts and we strongly recommend you do not buy this model unless it has an original cover.
