Rene Lalique Decoration Caravelle-2: 62 cm long by 44.8 cm high for the glass plaque only, and 72.3 cm long and 47 cm high overall, dome shaped clear glass with a depiction of a period sailing ship in nickel plated lit base R. Lalique Decoration. Lot No. 47 Est: €50,000 - €80,000. Model: 1169bis Circa 1938. Note: This is a variation of the 1930 Caravelle Decoration Model No. 1169 with the main difference being it has mouettes (seagulls) added. It was created for the 1938 royal visit to France of King George and Queen Elizabeth to go along with the mouettes themed tableware presented to the King and Queen as a gift from the City of Paris.

Also offered is a frosted Serpent Vase with lamp hardware inside the rim and no hole in the bottom as Lot 50, a frosted Milan Vase with lamp hardware inside the rim and no hole in the bottom as Lot 53, and a white opalescent and patinated Marguerites Vase as Lot 54.
