Note: In February and March of 1931 Lalique created a short series of 3 similar lamps. In addition to this one, there is also the Bacchante-2 Lamp and the Genevieve Lamp. Then in May of 1931 he followed through with a wider more ambitious three-figure lamp with similar figures that are dancing instead of cavorting. That 4th lamp is Trois Danseuses and we do not yet have it in the catalogue.
