Note: À travers la voilette is French for through the veil. It's the name of the fragrance for which the bottle was created.

Also Note: This bottle with this decoration is known in 2 heights of approximately 7.3 cm and 8.5 cm. Both sizes are molded R.LALIQUE to the underside.

Also Note: The floral decoration on the bottle is cold-painted by hand and the bottle is gilt signed ALIX on the side for the cold-paint artist Alix Ayme.

Also Note: In addition to this floral decorated bottle, there is a cold-painted À Travers La Voilette Veil Design Perfume Bottle that uses the same basic bottle in the same 2 sizes as this floral version. We treat the veil and floral bottles as separate models in the catalogue just as if they were different molded decorations.

Also Note: Ignoring decoration, labels, and packaging, the A Travers bottles are the same basic bottle model as all the bottles shown and discussed on the Isabey Chypre Celtic Perfume Bottle page.

Also Note: The larger size of this floral motif bottle and both sizes of the veil motif bottle linked above have appeared in a wonderfully decorated box that was not designed by Lalique. That great box can be seen housing the veil version of the bottle in the May 2021 listing on the model page for the veil version linked above. The smaller floral bottle has appeared in a box covered with colored plain paper.

Also Note: The bottles have appeared with either a round or rectangular gold label. Both labels have the same wording: A TRAVERS LA VOILETTE ISABEY PARIS.

Finally: There appears to be a slight difference in the decoration on the one larger floral motif bottle we've seen when compared to the decoration on the three smaller floral bottles we've seen. However, the basic floral design is the same and we treat the two floral sizes as one model.
