Rene Lalique Muguet Frame: 10 centimeters diameter square picture frame decorated with clear Muguet flowers set against a frosted background. Clear center glass and apparent original stand/picture holder. The holder unscrews from two small holes in the clear center section, and the picture is placed between the round section of the stand and the front glass. Molded R. Lalique signature in lower right corner, and engraved France on the bottom facing edge just under the molded signature. Excellent condition save a few millimeter by 1 mm or less shallow little chip near the edge seen in the front photo as a little glare about 1/3 of the way up the left side. There is a small area thinning of the edge almost entirely just on the bevel of the edge near that shallow chip which is not noticeable from front or back. There is also a very shallow little shell chip on the back of the frame that is around 5 mm by 1/2 to 1 mm deep that could not be photographed. Neither of these small items detract from this great picture frame. This same frame was also used by Lalique for a clock, with a clock face replacing the glass center. Circa 1926.
