Rene Lalique Chandelier Vendome: One unsigned piece only that is 15.5 centimeters tall in the form of a stylized Art Deco skyscraper design from a Vendome Lalique Chandelier. This skyscraper motif seen in 1929 on the Lucien LeLong Perfume Bottle and then coming the following year with this piece, and the next year, 1931 the Empire State Building is completed puts this as a small remnant of the style and design of the Art Deco era. Would have made a heck of a paperweight form in its day, and would fit in nicely with all the small pieces, or if you have the light fixture and need one of these, it would fit in even better. This sells in the same Lot 285 with what appears to be the Sussfeld Cylindrique Fleurs Atomiser. Est: €400 - €600. Model: 2293 Circa 1930. Note: There are two Vendome light fixtures, the model no. 2293 80 some centimeters wide chandelier referenced here, and a multi-level 80 cm plus light fixture which is model no. 2244. We cannot say which model this piece is associated with. France - Paris - Drouot boisgirard@club-internet.fr +33 1 47 70 81 36 Date of Sale: 2011-07-01   Boisgirard
