Rene Lalique Vase Tourbillons: 20 cm yellow-amber glass R. Lalique Vase decorated with a deeply molded whirlwind design. Lot No. 195 Est: £2000 - £3000. Model: 973 Circa 1926. Note: The vase was apparently used as a lamp but with a lamp fitting that just rested on the top of the vase. The auction house states: "Once the fitting has been removed (which simply lifts out) there is no evidence to suggest it has been converted. Not drilled, the power cable would exit via the top of the fitting. A very small selection of very minor nibbles, please see attached images for examples."
