A pair of 17.5 cm tall glass peacock heads set in chrome mounts and 12.8 cm by 10 cm black glass bases for a total height each of approximately 21 cm R. Lalique Bookends selling separately as Lot Nos. 175 and 176 with Ests: AUD12,000 - 18,000 and AUD8,000 - 12,000 respectively and shown in lot order in the photo. Model: 1140-Bookend Circa 1928. Note: There are felt pads under the bookend bases that elevate them slightly off the surface. Also the auction house has indicated that there is wear to the metal rings.

Also offered are an Actinia Vase as Lot 173, and a Helianthe Bowl as Lot 174. Lots 177 and Lot 180 are titled for René Lalique. However, those 2 lots contain post-war reproductions in crystal by the modern Lalique company of original René Lalique designs.
