Also Note: If you ignore the addition of the wide fish scales motif top rim, this approximately 29 cm tall vase appears to be the exact same design, just in larger scale, as the 9 cm Oléron Vase that came about 6 months earlier in December 1927.

Also Note: The first commercial fish decorated vase from Lalique appeared in the form of the 1921 Poissons Vase. Three years later came the smaller 1924 Formose Vase. Then in 1927 things started to get a little fishier. Both the Marisa Vase and the small Oléron Vase appeared the last 2 months of that year. They were followed quickly in 1928 by the vases Camaret, Salmonidés, and Penthièvre. Even though dolphins are not fish, if we include the 1932 Dauphins Vase that appeared 4 years after Salmonidés, that makes only 8 total fish decorated vases. After 1932 there were no more.
