Note: Opéra has the same meaning in French as in English. But here it's the name of the fragrance for which this bottle was originally created. The Coryse-Salomé shop was opened no later than 1929 at 8, Place de l'Opéra in Paris as shown on the label in the last photo of the Feb 2022 listing below. So they named the fragrance after the street.

Also Note: This bottle is known in 2 heights of approximately 8 cm and 11.7 cm.

Also Note: The decoration is on both faces of the bottle.

Also Note: There is a similar earlier 1926 design Vinca Perfume Bottle that has square corners instead of canted corners. That bottle is not yet in the catalogue.

Also Note: In 1924 Corysé merged with the powder company Salomé according to the Coryse Salomé Parums Official Website. At some point after that merger but no later than 1929 the name was changed to Coryse-Salomé and the move was made to the Place de l'Opera location. The design year for the bottles being 1929 likely at least partially explains the rarity of the bottles, coming just as the roaring 20's were ending and financial calamity was beginning.
