Note: Marie Brizard was founded in Boardeaux in 1755 by Marie Brizard and her nephew Jean-Baptiste Roger. The company became famous for its various liqueurs. It stayed in family hands for over 240 years until 1998! Today (2021) the company is named Marie Brizard et Roger International and is a subsidiary of the French publicly traded alcoholic beverage company Belvédère. MBR's products are sold in over 100 countries.

Also Note: The MBR initials on the stopper of the decanter pay homage to the company's founders.

Also Note: There is 2nd version of this decanter that is not yet in our catalogue. It has the same container but instead of the monogrammed stopper, it has a stopper with a design that matches the ribbing of the container without any enamel.
