Note: We don't know of any documentation for this design as a ring. The metal backed glass appears to be the same design as the Trois Marguerites Brooch that is shown on Page 539 of the 2011 Catalogue Raisonne. We suspect someone just added a shank to convert it to a ring. We don't yet have that referenced Trois Marguerites Brooch in the catalogue. But if the 1/2 inch diameter in the auction description is correct, this example would have to be a miniature and we suspect the diameter is not accurate. Also note that the auction catalogue gives the model number 1252 that is the swivel shanked different design Marguerites Ring. So nothing in that description can reasonably be relied upon. Finally we do have a Trois Marguerites Brooch in the catalogue but it's a documented different version of the brooch and it does not match this ring design.
