Note: This is the 2nd version of the Eglantines Vase. We have only seen this 2nd version in cased-white opalescent glass with an extra thick neck and much larger neck opening when compared to the documented original version. Here the 2nd version is mounted with appropriate hardware and lamp berger parts for use as a perfume burner. The circa date is for the original Eglantines Vase. We don't know when the cased-white opalescent version was created. However, knowing that the 2nd version would have required changes to the mold or a new mold and has only been seen in the one color, we believe that the 2nd version of the vase was created specifically for use seen here.
