Note: In both French and English, Alaska refers to the State of Alaska. One inhabitant of Alaska is the Arctic Fox. It's a small fox (18 to 30 inches), it molts twice a year (so it can be snowy white, brownish, etc. depending on the season) and it can look pretty much just like Lalique's design when it's sleeping with its tail wrapped around itself.
