Note: In both French and English, Alaska refers to the State of Alaska. One inhabitant of Alaska is the Arctic Fox. It's a small fox (18 to 30 inches), it molts twice a year (so it can be snowy white, brownish, etc. depending on the season) and it can look pretty much just like Lalique's design when it's sleeping with its tail wrapped around itself.

Also Note: This variant of the typical Alaska Ashtray has a faceted/scalloped receiver that we have only seen in alexandrite glass. There is no documentation for this faceted receiver.

Also Note: This is one of only two ashtrays that we have seen with this faceted receiver. The other is the Renard-2 Ashtray.
