Note: In both French and English, dahlias are any of the over 40 different species of the flowering bushy perennial plant originally from Central America and Mexico. Dahlias are a member of the same plant family as daisies, sunflowers, zinnias, and chrysanthemum. Because dahlias are tuberous, they can be a food source. When the Spanish arrived in Mexico in the early 1500's, dahlia tubers were being cultivated and eaten by the Aztecs. Today the dahlia is the Mexican national flower.

Also Note: There are 2 standard sconces for this design: an approximately 30 cm wide half-bowl form wall sconce and a 20 cm tall corner sconce that is Model No. 2015. There is also a 30 cm wide Chandelier, as well as 30 and 24 cm wide Bowls.
